How To Increase Your Web Presence 13-Fold In Just 13 Days

I don't know why but every time I or one of the other industry marketing experts talk about getting spectacular results from our marketing efforts, people doubt it.

They think there's a catch.

They're worried that they're about to fall foul of a scam of some kind.

Yet there are a handful of people who rise to the challenge and actually DO something with the material they're given and achieve spectacular, almost 'impossible' results (impossible only if you don't know how or won't even try to learn).

Look at what Jeremy Nelms has accomplished in just 2 weeks on the Financial Fitness Coaching program (don't worry, I'm not trying to sell you a place, the program's closed for the next 3 months).

"Dax,

I'm shocked. Heck, I even had to double check it because I couldn't believe it.

And then I triple checked it 4 hours later, because I just didn't think this was possible.

When I started the Excellence module of your mentorship program, you had us search for our name in quotes on Google. So, when I searched for "Jeremy Nelms", I got back a paltry 329 results. So, you can imagine my surprise when I followed your directions and checked again 4 days later.

I was at 820 and thinking, "Hey, I already trusted Dax, but this is great!"

Well, now I am literally shaking my head in disbelief (and kicking myself for not taking action on this sooner).

Why?

Because today, exactly 13 days after I implemented your strategy, I did another check with Google. And there were about 4,350!!!

That's four THOUSAND three hundred fifty! A 13-fold increase in 13 days!

Unbelievable, Dax! You're the MAN!
"

Sincerely,

Jeremy and Alissa Nelms

http://www.TheFitCouple.com

It ain't so hard, you could do it too y'know.

Start by reading my traffic generation tips on this page and doing something with what you learn rather than dismissing it out of hand and you'll experience the same as Jeremy and Alissa too.

To your success!

Dax Moy

P.S - You don't have to be on my $10,000 coaching program to take advantage of my excellence module.

You can use the 'home study' version of it at a fraction of the price and still get awesome results.

Just go to www.personaltrainersuccessacademy.com/curriculum.asp and grab a copy today and you'll start to understand why Jeremy and his fellow students are doing so well in such a short period of time.

Seriously Sexy Web Traffic Generation Tip Number 3

Todays seriously sexy web traffic generation tip uses the ultimate social networking medium.... Youtube!

Seriously, as far as generating red hot super interested traffic goes, there's little to beat a good old youtube video but, alas, many people don't have the slightest idea how to get the most from the 'tubes' and end up wasting tons of traffic.

Now, don't get me wrong, until recently I was definitely one of those people and was making stacks of mistakes here too and I'm by no means THE definitive youtube expert but I've learned a lot in just the last few weeks. So much so, in fact, that traffic that used to take me weeks, months or even up to a year to generate, I'm now getting in just days, with video's like my 'Jungle Adventure' and 'Creed' doing more in just a few days than many of my other videos were doing in much longer periods

Take a look

Jungle Adventure- Why is Dax Moy Half Naked In The Jungle?

Creed

Now yes, they're only at 500 plus and nearly a thousand, hardly anything to write home about in terms of pure statistics, but let me tell you, both of those videos have resulted in thousands of dollars worth of sales of The MAGIC Hundred over the last 2 weeks that simply would not have happened otherwise.

As the videos spread further and wider I'm sure I'll generate many, many more.

So youtube really works as a strategy.

But only if you stop making the stupid mistakes I was making and start doing this right.

Let's take a look at 6 simple steps to turn your youtubes into seriously effective traffic generators.

1. Create your youtubes on subjects that your prospects will find genuinely interesting... or funny!

Sounds really obvious, yet many youtube videos from personal trainers are pretty much only interesting to themselves. They've pretty much made the video's to satisfy their own ego's rather than to entertain or educate. In effect, you're in the business of 'edutainment' a cross between the two. Remember this and people will want to watch.

(Being half naked in the jungle is a bigger pull than 'another video on goals' don't you think?)

2. Use your keywords in the title of your video AND in the description

If you're a personal trainer in New York teaching a kettlebell swing on video, doesn't it make sense to use the words 'Kettlebell Swing lessons from a personal trainer in New York' rather than learn the ettlebell swing'?

You betcha!

See, whilst it's nice to have a 'worldwide market' the truth is you'll probably earn most of your income from those who live or work nearby to YOUR home or work. For this reason, you should ALWAYS include your location in your description along with any other keywords that are relevent to you.

And yes, your name and your company name ARE keywords, especially if you're trying to build a brand (which you should be).

For instance, my own video above says

Not just another stuffy presentation about goals...

"Join Dax Moy, author of The MAGIC Hundred as he takes you on a jungle adventure and explains the importance of paying the price for the things you want."

My name, my product, my website and the keyword 'goals' are all in there.

3. Add 'stuff' to your videos to make them more edutaining.

Simple things like soundtracks make a big difference to your videos, but you've got to think about what image you're putting out there. You may like heavy metal but many of the people you're trying to attract may not, think about that before you put music on your vid!

But there's more 'stuff' than just videos.

You can (and should) add titles that include introductions to the video, to you and, importantly, your website.

This titling should include a 50% title.

Let me explain; most youtubes when you first see them are 'frozen' at EXACTLY 50% into the video, so a 3 minute video will, by default, be frozen at 1:30. Knowing this, you can place your URL on a title or overlay at exactly 1:30 into your video meaning that your URL will show even BEFORE they play the video.

Neat trick!

4. Create and upload regularly

Your goal should be to be THE resource on your particular subject in terms of both quality and quantity. In order to accomplish this you should be uploading at least 10 new videos a month, meaning that by the end of the year you'll have 120 fresh videos about/by you online.

If this sounds too much then you're probably overthinking things.

Some of the most viewed videos in the exercise section on youtube are under a minute.

Craig Ballantyne has a pushup video that has over 56,000 views and lasts 45 seconds.

You can EASILY create 5 or six short video's just like that in under half an hour every week if you put your mind to it.

5. Send your list first

One of my students recently told me that he's been putting up youtube video's for over a year but that nothing has come of it. I asked him who he sent the video links to and he said "what do you mean sent?"

It never even dawned on him that he should tell his own clients and his own lists about his videos. I guess his way of thinking was "well, they're ALREADY my clients, I show 'em this all the time" but he was missing the point.

Your existing clients and readers are ALREADY your biggest fans. Send them your links and they'll send them on to others who they think will enjoy them. That's how this whole thing works! Fail to tell your lists and it'll take ages before you get any benefit from your videos.

6. Comment on other peoples videos

Youtube is great! It allows you to view someone's video and say what you think. This is beneficial to YOU because you can either post a video response to a popular video and get your video seen as a result, or you can post a text response and put your URL in the posting, creating more clicks through to your site or blog. You win either way.

Is there more to youtube success?

Absolutely, and, as I said earlier, I'm certainly not the leader in this field, but there's a lot I've learned recently that has delivered real results (as in, results that generate money) in a surprisingly short period of time.

Get yo uploading those 10 new vids a month and you could be experiencing the same.

To your success

Dax
http://www.personaltrainersuccessacademy.com/

P.S - Craig Ballantyne really is THE MAN when it comes to this stuff. His videos regularly break the 10,000 mark with several way, way beyond that.

He teaches all about youtube strategy in his excellent OSP video series which I highly recommend as a great resource to anyone serious about earning six-figures in the personal training industry

Seriously Sexy Web Traffic Generation Tip # 2

Today we continue our look at generating serious traffic with a look at article marketing.

Now, I know a lot has been written about article marketing over the last six months but, truth be told, very, very few people are using a systematic approach to generating traffic through articles and, as such, are missing out on a HUGE amount of potential traffic AND those ever valuable backlinks that help to push you up the search engines (this is just one factor, but an important one).

In many respects, article marketing is not to dissimilar to blogging.

First, you need to identify your target readers and provide them with content rich, relevent articles that solve (or partially solve) one or more of their problems.

Second, you need to identify the purpose of your article. Not just the purpose in terms of the problem you're going to help them solve, but also the purpose for you.

Why are you writing it?

To generate sales?

To generate traffic?

To move people to an opt-in box or squeeze page?

Something else entirely?

Whatever you're writing it for should shape the entire structure and content of the article as each goal is achieved through its own route.

Third, you need to need to write from a P.A.S perspective. This stands for 'problem - agitate - solution' and simply means that the general structure and flow of your article should move readers through the phases of identifying the problem, agitating it by discussing it in greater detail and then providing the solution.

Good ways to start articles like this are...

"Have you ever noticed how...."

"Did you ever feel like..."

"Has this happeed to you.?..."

Using a question to start your article is a great way to get identification with your readers as, if they find themselves saying 'yes' then they're already feeling like the article is applicanble to them.

Fourth, write your article so that it uses relevent keywords to your market, your website and your products and services.

If you're writing a fat loss article you could include specific terms like 'fat loss', 'weight loss', 'diet', 'rapid fat loss results' etc within the body of the article copy.

Just be sure that you use these words in ways that make sense to the article and that you're not 'stuffing' them into the article like "If you're looking for fat loss then this is without a doubt the best fat loss system around and has been responsible for more fat loss than any training program I've ever written"

Don't laugh, I read 4 articles like that today alone so people are doing this.

Don't be one of them. For a start, the main reason to use article marketing is to put yourself 'on stage' and generate interest through your professionalism.

Use this method and you look anything but.

Second, you get penalised by the search engines for pulling this stunt and lose any benefit you may have gained by writing the article.

Fifth, Use your signature file to generate interest in one of your main offerings... but don't sell!

Too many personal trainers get to the sig file or bio and then lose the plot by writing a mini-ad. Don't!

Instead, send people to a page that's relevent to the article.

For example, if the article was about nutrition, don't send them to the home page of your general PT site or they'll back-click due to the irrelevence of the link. Instead, send them to a page that's directly related to to the subject matter like your nutritional consulting page or, better still, your free downloadable diet report.

Of course, this has double benefit because the traffic you drive to your site will exchange their email addresses for the report and you get to speak to them all over again through your newsletter.

In addition, make sure your sig file has a live link by using 'http://' prefixes as many article submission sites will not active the hyperlink facility on just the 'www' this means that you'll lose out on all those backlinks to your site.

Finally, use a submission site to place your articles out into cyberspace as these are far more efficient and effective than you could ever be. Use something like www.submityourarticle.com which, for just a few dollars a month, places your article into hundreds of online article directories at once, allowing you to benefit from increased exposure and, of course, all those extra backlinks.

Try using this strategy along with your blogging strategy for just a month and you'll see a major difference in the amount of traffic you're generating as well as benefitting from a generally larger web presence too.

Now get to it! : )

21 Seriously Sexy Web Traffic Generation Tips

Well, my new round of coaching students have just completed week one of their year-long training in how to build the ultimate Personal Training business both online and off.

Their first week's training revolved around developing the Excellence Strategy that would underpin every single strategy and tactic that we cover throughout the remaining 51 weeks and, needless to say, it rocked their world!

Seriously, this module is a seriously powerful stuff and generates some amazing results in a ridiculously rapid time.

(5 of my students wrote me this weekend to tell me they've been more productive this week than they have in the entires 3 month period before).

But that's not why I'm writing to you, I digress... as usual : )

The reason I'm writing is because, despite not teaching the full lead generation strategies until later in the program, I decided to start this program differently and give each of my students a 'homework' task that would prove to both themselves and me, what could be achieved in a very short period of time when the right principles were followed.

I decided to share 3 of the simplest and easiest to action web traffic strategies I know and see who would use them and bring them to life.

I'm pleased to say they all did... and with amazing results!

In just 1 week, one of my students had a 400% increase in traffic to his site. This is with no other changes other than those I advised.

Another of my students saw his site climb several places in Google during the same time, whilst another still told me of the most signups to his newsletters that he's ever had in a month, let alone a week.

Not bad huh?

But I bet you want to know what they did don't you?

It's simple, they just followed a basic, yet amazingly effective series of principles related to web traffic generation.

And I'm going to share them with you over the next 21 days, starting today : )

Seriously Sexy Strategy #1

Blog Like Mad

Yep, I know you already know this one (or think you do), but unless you're on page 1, 2 or 3 of Google, you're simply not doing it right.

Sorry, but that's how it is.

For a start, you need to ask these questions?

1. Are my posts relevent to my target market? - If they're not then why bother?

2. Are my posts loaded with keywords that my target market will actually search for? - You should know these keywords and use 'em throughout your posts without stuffing.

3. Do other blogs link to mine creating backlinks? If not you're seriously missing out. Start by asking your firends and colleagues (or mastermind group) to link to you in exchange for your link to them, then cast your net further afield to get as many relevent links as possible.

4. Am I submitting my blog to relevent blog directories like www.blogcatalog.com so that they get indexed and picked up by others who're looking for content like mine?

5. Am I posting regularly? There's no getting around this, if you're not posting regularly enough (I can be guilty of this when I get really busy) then you simply won't be able to create enough links back to your main sites to get picked up on Google.

There you go.

Now, I know it's hardly the most complete list and there's more to generating leads with blogs than what I've just covered but seriously, 99% of those reading this won't even do these 5 things, let alone the rest.

If you're one of those that DOES then you're certain to see your web traffic increase in just a week or so like my students did (And they're paying $10,000 each for this information -and more, of course- so you shouldn't underestimate it).

So get to it Dax, try out this blogging strategy and see what it does for you.

I'm looking forward to hearing of your success.

Truth, joy and love

Dax

P.S - My excellence strategy was a major part of the success my students achieved with their traffic generation this past week. Eyes, Throat and Groin - Success And Marketing Lessons For All Personal Trainers

(Warning: If you don't respond well to being kicked in the ass thenyou might want to skip this message... )

Despite the fact that it's midnight on Sunday here in the UK and I've had a long day and an early start set for tomorrow, I felt theneed to share something with you.

It's something that'll (hopefully) set you straight with regards to some of the things that you feel might be holding you back from achieving your goals for your PT business... and indeed, your life!

(And don't worry, I'm not trying to sell you a thing so read this whole message through from start to finish)

Before I get to the main thrust of this message, let me first tell you why I felt the need to write it...

(This is the bit where you can imagine that wavy 'dream scene'effect that you see in the movies when people are thinking back...)

Since last weekend I've recieved well over 500 emails from personal trainers from all around the world who've been asking me forinformation about my audios, my mentor program, my apprentice program and, well, just about every permutation of PT Success question you can ask.

Like many of the guys who play at the top level in this profession,I enjoy these questions and am both flattered by the attention andtruly appreciative of the trust being placed upon me by the personasking the questions.

Yet this week I felt different.

I felt frustrated.

To be honest, I felt pissed off!

(Hey, excuse the cussing butthat's honestly how I felt)

Now, I'm not someone who gets pissed off easily, I'm a pretty laidback guy, so when I feel this way I always try to get to the bottomof it quickly, identify the cause and insert a solution.
So, why was I pissed off, I asked myself.

Maybe it was the excuses I was hearing from personal trainerstelling me that, for some reason known only to them, that life washarder in THEIR town than it was in mine, that there was morecompetition, more unemployment, more racism, sexism or [insert
excuse here].

Maybe it was the insistance of so many that they'd 'Triedeverything' and none of it worked in THEIR town.

Maybe it was the large majority of emails from trainers who weretelling me that they would love to earn a great income but whooutright refused to buy the educational e-books from any of the guyswho are making six figures and more.

(And no, I don't just mean me. Alwyn Cosgrove, Pat Rigsby, JimLabadie, Ryan Lee, Bedros Keulian, Phil Kaplan, Eric Ruth, Tom Terwilliger all have great stuff... and I own most of it)

Maybe it was none of these things, maybe it was all three but likeI said, today I just had enough.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love this profession, I love the peoplein it and yes, I LOVE the contact I have with the thousands ofreaders of my newsletter.

But there's something I can't stand....

Lies!

And that's why I got pissed off this week. People were lying. Notjust to me but, more importantly, to themselves.

They were buying into a heap of crap that told them that the reasonthey're not doing as well as they could be is because somethingexternal, something OTHER was holding them up and keeping them fromthe success they truly deserve.

Like I said... Crap!

The lack of success that any one of us is experiencing at anymoment in time is our own fault. We're responsible. We're the onesto point the finger at.

But like I said, I don't just like to look at problems, I want tounderstand why and then find the solution.

Well, I spent the week looking at the problems in detail. I meanREALLY in detail. And I noticed that they were all the same!

Whether they were about getting clients, keeping clients, earningmore per hour, creating e-products, websites or audio programs, theproblem came back to one thing and one thing only...

Lack of focus.

I don't mean that people didn't know what they wanted (though manywere pretty vague) but rather that their energies weren't focused on getting what they wanted?

Huh?

Let me explain.

Many of you know that I served with some of the foremost units ofthe British Army. During my training I was trained to a high standard in unarmed combat techniques against guns, knives, batons and assorted martial arts.

The training was very tough, very brutal and highly effective.

Yet it only lasted around 30 hours in total.

By the end of that time, I and my colleagues were able to stand toeto toe with assorted blackbelts in Aikido, Jiu Jitsu, Tae Kwondo,Muay Thai, Karate, Kung Fu and numerous other and WITHOUT EXCEPTION put each one of these guys on the floor within seconds regardless
of their size, strength, speed or skill or the fact that they eachhad between 15-20 years of experience.

How did we do it?

Simple. We took out the targets that would have the most impact!

Eyes, throat and groin.

You see, each one of these masters was a sportsman.

They were greater in speed, strength and skill than most of us guys but they'd lacked the one thing that we had plenty of.

FOCUS.

For these guys it was all about creating beautiful punches, kicksand throws whilst for us it was about disabling and even killing an enemy soldier so that we could complete our mission.

Eyes, throat and groin made that possible.

It was never pretty but always highly effective and NEVER failed.

What's this got to do with how I started this email? What's it got to do with becoming a PT
Success story?

Well think about it.

In every problem you face in building your success there is, ineffect, the eyes, throat and groin of that problem. These are the things that will make the biggest impact in getting to where you want to go.

'Take out' those things and the rest of the problem falls away, just like the masters in the example above.

When you apply eyes-throat-groin to whatever you currently happen to be bitching about it goes away. And it goes away fast.

Regardless of the problem you currently face, attack it full onwith eyes-throat-groin and it'll fall faster than you'd everbelieve.

Here endeth my rant! : )

Dax

P.S - This very message is an example of eyes-throat-groin.

You'll either be offended and unsubscribe or you'll think it was great and take action.

Either way, I win and remove my 'problem'

Personal Trainer Success | Press Release Strategy

Have you submitted any press releases this week?

What about this month?

This year?NO??!!

If you're not submitting press releases as part of your strategy to help build your business, then you're missing out on possibly one of the most powerful client attraction strategies out there.

I should know... over the last few years I've been featured in hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles, made 20 TV appearances including primetime CNN news and given over 200 radio interviews and all of it, off the back of press releases.

Did all this coverage help my business?

You bet!

In fact, I'm now at the point where I charge £130 ($260) an hour for my time and over £2500 ($5000) a day for my corporate work, due in no small part to the fact that I managed to achieve something that few trainers ever accomplish.

Newsworthy status.

See, when you become news, you are immediately elevated into a different orbit.

People don't see you as someone who is 'marketing (though, in effect, that's exactly what you're doing) and instead they see you as an expert, a trusted resource who they want to learn more from.

In fact, getting into the news fulfils the very first part of the 'holy trinity' of marketing (KNOW-LIKE-TRUST and gets you known by a larger audience far faster than your ads ever could. But how do you get yourself into the news?

That's the trick right?

Well, to be honest, it's not too difficult at all.

You simply need to think about what journalists want.

A story.A COMPLETE story.

Look, to be honest, most journo's are pretty lazy. No, that's not fair, they're not lazy, but they're up against pretty tough deadlines on numerous articles at once and they want stories that are going to be easy for them to write and submit in the shortest time possible.

This makes sense to them on a financial level too as nost Journo's are self-employed these days and only get paid for the stories that actually get run.

Knowing this, you can make their life easy.Submit articles that are in 1 of the following three categories.

1. They're New - The best news is 'new' news. If you've got a new take on an old story, a new system of training, a possibly contentious new viewpoint on something that's happening in your area then you can and SHOULD submit a story.

2. They're Timely - If the national press is blasting school dinners then jumping on the wagon with your 2 cents about the state of school dinners will undoubtedly get you some press too, especially if you're adding something to the main story you're piggybacking.

3. They're pre-emptive - It stuns me how few people use this strategy and yet it's so simple... and effective.Simply write about what is GOING TO BE in the news in the days and weeks ahead.

How do you know?

Well, do you KNOW when certain sporting events are taking place?

Write a series of releases to come out around the time of the superbowl or Champions league and as long as they're relevent to those sports (football and soccer) then you're sure to get some coverage.

This is one strategy you can use, but by far the most powerful for a fitness professional is the use of National days.

For example, in the UK it's National Obesity week this week.I and my team have been crafting releases that mention our systems and free help we're giving to the nation through our program and using this to generate both traffic and interest in the business.

Within 5 minutes of submitting one this morning I made $200 online from someone who learned about my site from the reease AND had 2 journalists contact me for more information.

You can use this idea today too.

Simply go online and find out what the national, state, county and city days are this year and compile them into a calendar for easy viewing.

Then simply pick the ones that most interest you most and write a press release (or series of releases) and submit them.

How easy is that?

Honestly, if you don't give this a try, you're simply not serious about getting ahead in this profession and you're seriously hampering any success you'll ever attain.

Give it a go today and send me an email to tell me how you're getting on.

To Your Success

Dax

P.S - Taking continual action toward your goals is a major part of actually making them come true for you.

If you want to make a HIGE difference in how much you accomplish over the next few months then go take a look at the EXCELLENCE module of my new diploma course www.personaltrainersuccessacademy.com/curriculum.asp there are few online programs you could take that will have such an impact.

"Hey Dax,
I wanted to thank you for letting me into your Excellence Mastery Module. I picked up 5 new clients in one month and got myself into better shape with less time available. The Module had a very positive impact on my business and my personal life. You got me to focus on what matters most with a kind of wisdom that gets to the heart of the matter.
